Most delicious banana bread recipe!
Fancy a tasty and nutritious snack? This banana bread with mixed nuts and white chocolate is the ultimate combination of moist, crunchy and a little sweet. Ideal for on the go, for breakfast or as a snack. And delicious if you toast it briefly in the toaster and then combine it with Greek yoghurt and fresh fruit. Even your minis will love it!
Ingredients:
* 5 ripe bananas (4 for the batter and 1 for on top)
* 2 eggs
* 150g flour
* 50g oatmeal
*100g white chocolate
*100g mixed nuts
*100g apple sauce 0% sugar
* 2 scoops vanilla protein powder
* 1 sachet of baking powder
* 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
* Pinch of cinnamon
* Baking paper
1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C
2. Mash 4 ripe bananas in a bowl until smooth.
3. Add the eggs and applesauce and mix well. Then add the oats, flour, baking powder and vanilla sugar and gently fold this into the batter.
4. Finally, add the 2 scoops of protein powder and a pinch of cinnamon and mix well.
5. Chop the nuts and white chocolate coarsely and mix them into the batter.
6. Line a cake tin with baking paper, pour the batter into the cake tin and place the 5th banana cut in half lengthwise on top.
7. Bake the banana bread in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until a skewer comes out clean. Remove the banana bread from the oven and let it cool completely before cutting.
