I'm Kelly, you can find me on Instagram as @kellyvangurp. I love cooking and baking, especially when the end result is tasty and as “healthy” as possible. 2 years ago I started an online sports program. This program was not about a diet but about adjusting your lifestyle. I wanted to lose some weight and feel a little tighter. This has worked out very well and I am very proud of what I have achieved. I really wanted to continue to eat delicious food, but in a responsible way, without many calories, sugars and fats.

That's why I've developed one of my favorite recipes for you:

pink signature waffles with beets

You can use this recipe to make both waffles and pancakes.

What do you need:

-50 grams of whole wheat flour.
-65 grams Soy milk (can choose other milk)
-1 egg
-5 grams of baking powder
-15 grams of protein powder (can be replaced by flour, 5 grams)
-90 grams of beetroot (fresh or from a pot)
-A pinch of sweetener.

-A knob of butter (for frying)

What should you do?

Step 1:
Weigh the ingredients and put them all in a bowl or food processor. Mix all ingredients well and you're done! Convenience serves people.

Step 2:
Grease your waffle iron/frying pan with butter. Place a small amount of the batter in the waffle iron. Check in between to see if the batter is already taking the shape of a waffle, but try not to open the waffle iron too early.

Are you going for pancakes?

Then fry the pancakes in a frying pan until golden brown, uhh pink brown!

Enjoy it!

Greetings,

Kelly
