4 portions (1 portion 5 balls) or 4 burgers
Ingredients: 240 grams chickpeas (rinsed and drained), 120 grams chestnut mushrooms, 1 clove garlic, 1 red onion, 60 grams chickpea flour, 15 grams fresh coriander, 25 grams sunflower seeds, 25 grams pumpkin seeds, 1 teaspoon paprika powder, 1 teaspoon cumin powder, 3 tbsp chia seeds and salt and pepper to taste.
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and line a baking tray with baking paper.
Step 2
Place the chickpeas in the food processor and grind finely. There may still be pieces in there.
Step 3
Place the remaining ingredients in the food processor and grind until smooth. It's okay if there are still some coarse pieces in it. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 4
Make 20 equal balls and place them on the lined baking tray. You can also make 4 equal larger balls and flatten them on the baking tray for delicious burgers.
Step 5
Place the baking tray in the oven for 15 minutes. Then turn the balls or burgers over and bake them again for 15 minutes.
Step 6
The meatballs and burgers are ideal for a tasty snack, in a salad or to make a hamburger sandwich. How about a well-filled wrap with mushroom falaffel?
