Ingredients: 50 grams of brown rice, ½ herb or vegetable stock cube, 200 grams of chard (finely chopped in a food processor), ½ red onion (finely chopped), 1 clove of garlic (finely chopped), 75-100 grams of vegan chicken pieces, salt and pepper to taste.
Optional: 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast.
Step 1
Cook the rice according to the instructions.
Step 2
Grab a wok and put it on the fire. Add some water or coconut oil. Fry the onion and garlic. When it starts to become glassy, add the vegan chicken pieces. Fry well.
Step 3
When the vegan chicken pieces are well browned, add the finely ground chard with ½ herb or vegetable stock cube. Add a little water. Not too much. Stir well.
Step 4
Drain the rice and add it to the chard mixture. Stir well. Season with some black pepper and sea salt if necessary.
Step 5
Grab a plate and put your portion of rice with chard on the plate and finish with some nutritional yeast flakes if necessary.
Also very tasty with pieces of sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms and sunflower seeds.
